I fly in. I fold my wings back so I wouldn't knock any trees over. I feel bad about being rude to the new comer in Death Clan. 'Oh well." I thought. 'She'll get over it. Hopefully.'

I look around. Patrol duty is so boring. Then I looked up, and realized maybe it wasn't. There was a dragon here! And from the looks of it, he's from Death Clan. I run back to camp. My mentor was sitting in the clearing talking to a kangaroo. I run over and tell him about the dragon.

I walk around a little bit. I spot a mouse. I crush it under my foot. "Sucks to be you." I flick the mouse away.

'Wow' I thought. 'It's not often you see a Death dragon in the Teak Wood forest.' Of course, I was stuck guarding the camp while everyone was going to fight. I wondered how many people would be killed as I watched them march off into the forest.

A random Teak Wood Clan leopard shows up and scratches my foot. "Ow!. That hurt."

Suddenly I felt angry and wished I could be in the fight, but no, I'm stuck here guarding the camp while everyone else gets to see a dragon! Nobody even said anything to me about being the one to warn them about the dragon. After all, nobody else had known about him until I told them. I should at least get "Thanks for warning us" or something. I ran off into the forest and didn't realize I was heading towards the dragon until he was standing in front of me. One of the leopards there gave me a dirty look. I realized that fighting was starting all around me. Oh boy.

I kick the leopard and it hits a tree. It got knocked out. I look down at the little dog.

I see the dragon staring at me. Oh no! I'm in trouble now. Suddenly everyone else shows up and starts attacking the dragon. My mentor looks at me and gives me one of those 'You're in big trouble young missy.' Great, like I purposefully ran into a full grown dragon by myself. Sure. I looked around as everyone continued trying to attack the dragon.

I look down at all the cuts i'm getting from the animals. "You know this isn't gonna leave much of a battle mark. Just some cuts and scrapes." I spread out my wings and attack them. Soon there's a lot of blood on my claws. I look at the puppy.

Great, he's looking at me again. Why me? Most of the clan fighters have retreated and some bodies are laying on the ground. I hope they're not dead. Not that it matters considering I'll probably be dead soon. I can't outrun a dragon if he's focused on me. Why didn't I leave when I had the chance? I glance around but I can't find my mentor. Just great.

I stab my sharpest claw down at the puppy hoping to hit it. I look at the other bodies. I plunge my other claws into their hearts. They were dead.

I see the claw aiming at me and was stunned, but suddenly my instincts kicked in. He had killed my friends and invaded my territory. I did a flip in the air and landed on his leg. I bite down as hard as I can and as strong as he was, I knew that it would hurt. Before he realized what happened I jumped down and ran as hard as I could. I hoped with all my heart he would leave.

The bite hurt. "Ow! COME HERE YOU LITTLE BRAT." I start flying as fast as I could after the puppy. I was knocking down a bunch of trees as I went also.

Despite my fear, I smiled. My adrenaline pulsed through me and I felt great. Sure, there was a dragon after me and he would likely kill me, but I'd made an impact on him. Those injured back where he was before might be rescued and maybe he would leave them alone if he killed me. That's what mattered.

I flew in. "SCOURGE. STOP THIS NOW. THAT IS AN ORDER." I yell at Scourge.

I skid to a halt and fold my wings back in. I knew I couldn't attack a medicine animal. "Yes Melione..." I crouch down to the ground.

I glance back and see that he stopped. I feel relief spread through me but keep running till I get back to camp. Everyone is pleased to see me and I finally feel like I've done something right. I glance back but the dragon was gone, wondering why he had wanted to attack me so bad, even before I bit him.
